Look for the Unify Ukraine truck roving key areas of the District from January 31 to February 3.
The experiential truck will feature a collection of black sunflowers, a somber reminder of the loss of life over the last year of war, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. It will be wrapped in red “caution tape” with the campaign message calling for an end to Russia’s occupation and passing D.C. landmarks such as the Russian embassy, Senate and House office buildings, U.S. Department of State and Embassy Row on Massachusetts Avenue.
The Washington, DC activities are part of a campaign aimed at reminding Americans and our county’s leaders that the war is not over and Ukraine needs to know we still stand with them in their fight for freedom and to regain their country.
Anyone who spots the truck is invited to snap a photo, post on social using #UnifyUkraine and join the call to end the occupation of Ukraine.
